Acoustic Apple Launch Night

It is official - SUMMER is here - and I know what you are thinking....

"Wouldn't it be fabulous to while away a gorgeous balmy evening by kicking back with a few beverages and listening to Edinburgh's finest musicians."

Well you are in luck! Because the wonderful folk at Amicus Apple have invited me to host a monthly acoustic night in their stupendous bar. Each month I will be joined by a variety of musicians as we perform both our own songs and an ecclectic mix of live lounge covers.
Launch night is next Thursday 29th April so come on down and join us for a wee bevvy, some cracking music and of course - the incomparable company of me, GEORGIE NICHOLSON!!!

p.s. it's me birthday week so you've NO EXCUSE....SEE YOU THERE!!!

I'm on my way to London to play the last ever Smirking Sequin :( I was lucky enough to play at the first one nearly 2 years ago, so it's a real honor to be invited back. If you are in London town on Wednesday night then come on down for what promises to be a fantastic evening.

Wednesday 30th September - Secret Garden Sessions

I have got together with the wonderful people at Hawke & Hunter to organise a very exciting FREE monthly gig.
In the beautiful surroundings of the Secret Garden we will be hosting an acoustic night comprising of my music and showcasing other unsigned acts.
We are planning to hold these nights on the last Wednesday of every month at 8pm.

I will be kicking off these nights with a solo gig in the Secret Garden on WEDNESDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER 8PM. Come down and have a drink with us as we wave goodbye to the summer and hello to the Secret Garden Sessions.

I'm back!

Hello!!!

Well, apart from now holding the record for the longest time without blogging (sorry about that!), I also have some other catch up news for you!!

The beginning of the year was taken up with working on the other side of the industry, managing bands and a record label. It was an amazing insight into what happens behind the scenes and I'd like to thank those involved for the opportunity. Whilst I had a great time, I was itching to get back behind the mic where I belong.

So, what better way to get back on the gigging circuit than going back to Cuba!!! Another amazing trip meeting fantastic people, seeing stunning sights and playing some really fun gigs. My time there was topped off by performing at beautiful open-air theatre on the beach in front of an audience from all around the world...a truly wonderful experience.

Now, back on British soil, I spent a crazy summer performing at the Edinburgh Festival. During this time I did my first solo Edinburgh gig of the year at the wonderful Hawke & Hunter venue in their Secret Garden. The mixture of acoustic music, chilled garden vibe and great food and drink created a fantastic night. On the back of this success I have been invited back to perform every month The next gig is Wednesday 30th September at 8pm, this will be another solo gig but from October I will also be showcasing other unsigned artists on this night. If you know of anyone with huge talent, passion and a sense of fun, then please let me know. I will put all gig details in a following post, so they don't get lost in these ramblings!

That's about it from me for now. I hope to see you on the 30th and I promise that I will keep up the blogging from now on!!!

Hello.

First of all, i would like to thank all of you who came to the gig at the Voodoo Rooms. I had such a great time and it was lovely seeing so many of you there. Keep your eyes out on this blog, and youtube, for clips from the night. I am also currently working on the live recordings from the gig. I hope to have version on 'Immune' very soon!!

I am heading down south next week to take part in one of my favorite nights......The Smirking Sequin! It's a fab evening filled with comedy, music and variety (see the Smirking Sequin website for full line-up) I am doing a set with my old friend Jonny Berliner so I'm really looking forward to it. I hope to see you there.

After the Sequin I will be spending a further week down south seeing friends and family, I'm really looking forward to my little trip!

Welcome to my new Blog. I will keep you updated with new tracks, videos, shows and general news and gossip.

I'm doing a gig on 11th November at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh. It's going to be a fun night, with the lovely Jonny Berliner as support and Miss Wonton on the decks. I will be performing my favorite tracks, most of which i wrote, but there is always room for a few cheeky covers.
